Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi Takes Over as the Director (Finance) at BHEL
Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi has assumed the charge of the post of Director (Finance), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, with effect from June 19, 2024. He is likely to hold office until the date of his superannuation in 2028.
Dwivedi has been designated as Chief Financial Officer of the company in place of Koppu Sadashiv Murthy (CMD), BHEL, w.e.f. June 19, 2024.
Dwivedi, 56, prior to this appointment, was General Manager and Head of Corporate Finance at BHEL. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). He has more than 32 years’ experience across various verticals encompassing Business Strategies, Manufacturing and Project construction in the power sector, along with Board level exposure of holding additional charge of Director (Finance) at Heavy Engineering Corporation, Ranchi, since September 2022. He has demonstrated his leadership in the areas of operations while heading finance functions at major units of BHEL. His continuous focus on cost leadership through budgetary and cost controls and strong customer engagement led to the strengthening of BHEL’s finances as well as instilling confidence in the stakeholders of the company. He has been instrumental in promoting the cost management profession in the country through his active association at all levels of his mother institution, i.e., the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
