Rajeev Mittal To Succeed Guillermo Eduardo Maldonado-Codina As Director At ICICI Prudential AMC Board

Rajeev Mittal has been appointed as Non-Executive Director (Additional Director) of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited, with effect from March 31, 2026, subject to approval of the shareholders. He will succeed Guillermo Eduardo Maldonado-Codina, who will step down effective March 30, 2026.

Mittal is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board Member at Eastspring Investments and a Member of the Group Executive Committee of Prudential plc. He leads the firm’s management and strategy. He has over 30 years of experience in asset management and investment leadership. He joined Eastspring in July 2025 from Fidelity International, where he served as Managing Director (MD) and Head of Asia, overseeing markets across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Earlier, he spent 26 years at AIG and PineBridge Investments, including roles as CEO for Europe and Asia Pacific. Mittal holds a degree in mathematics and statistics from the University of Bradford.

Codina is a Director with over 31 years of experience in asset management. He has served as the CEO of Eastspring Investments (Singapore). Earlier, he held roles at HSBC Global Asset Management, including global Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for equities and regional CIO for Asia Pacific. He has led investment functions across markets and asset classes. Codina holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Sussex, an MBA from the Cranfield Institute of Technology, and a doctorate from the University of Oxford. He has also completed courses in atomic, molecular, and nuclear physics at Uppsala University.
