Rajeev Kumar Retires As Government Nominee Director Of Balmer Lawrie & Company
Rajeev Kumar has retired as Government Nominee Director (Non-Executive Director) of Balmer Lawrie and Company Limited with effect from November 17, 2025.
Kumar is currently Deputy Secretary (Flagship Programme) in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, overseeing administrative and programme-related responsibilities across the ministry and associated bodies. Previously, he served in the Ministry of Human Resource Development, handling administrative and financial matters for 11 states under the Mid-Day Meal Scheme. He also worked with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi on establishment and administrative issues. He has over 31 years of experience in the Government of India. He began his career in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, where he worked on administrative functions and policy matters related to state taxes, including the introduction of VAT, compensation frameworks for States and UTs, and the development of GST.
