Rajan R. Harivallabhdas Retires As Independent Director Of AlA Engineering
Rajan R. Harivallabhdas has retired as an Independent Director of AlA Engineering Limited, effective September 23, 2025, upon completion of his tenure.
Harivallabhdas served as Managing Director (MD) and Director across the family-managed Shri Ambica Mills Group, spanning textiles, engineering, and chemicals, from 1973 to 1988, gaining extensive experience in management, finance, and marketing. He later promoted and managed the family’s private chemical manufacturing ventures before establishing HK Finechem Ltd., a publicly listed chemical company, where he served as Chairman and Managing Director from 1992 to 2010. Under his leadership, the company became one of the first in India to adopt advanced molecular distillation and Sulzer-designed fractionation technology. Harivallabhdas currently contributes his expertise as an Independent Director at AIA Engineering Ltd.
