Raghav Chandra Succeeds Arun K. Gupta As Independent Director Of Gateway Distriparks

Raghav Chandra, IAS (Retd.), has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director (Additional Director) of Gateway Distriparks Limited, with effect from November 4, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Chandra succeeds Arun Kumar Gupta, who retired upon completion of his term on the above-mentioned date.

Chandra is a former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1982 batch who retired as Secretary to the Government of India. During his tenure, he served as Chairman of NHAI, where he launched the Bharatmala programme and raised international Masala Bonds. He has also held senior roles in the Ministry of Agriculture, Culture, and Commerce, and as Principal Secretary – Urban Development, Madhya Pradesh. A recipient of ‘Construction World’s Man of the Year (2016)’, he is also an accredited arbitrator and mediator, contributing to infrastructure, sustainability, and governance reforms. Chandra is a Harvard Edward S. Mason Fellow and holds degrees in mathematics from St. Stephen’s College and the Harvard Kennedy School.
