R S Sharma Reappointed as the Independent Director of Jubilant Industries

Jubilant Industries Limited announced the Reappointment of Radhey Shyam Sharma as an  Independent Director with effect from 25th October 2023. R S Sharma is a former Chairman & Managing Director of ONGC. He joined Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) in 1988. Besides assuming the role of Chairman, he also served as Director – Finance of ONGC and additional position of Director – Finance of ONGC Videsh Limited, a subsidiary of ONGC Ltd.

Prior to joining ONGC, he had joined Union Bank of India in 1972 with experience in branch banking and specialisation in Credit Appraisal. Also, he was a member of the middle-level finance team of another PSU engaged in the construction of roads and bridges in foreign countries, including functioning as Regional Head of Finance for the Iraq region for 4 years.

In another key development, Brijesh Kumar has been appointed as the Company Secretary of Jubilant Industries with immediate effect.
