Prudential Financial Appoints Carmine Di Sibio to the Board of Directors

Prudential Financial, Inc. has appointed Carmine Di Sibio as an Independent Director to its Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2024. Di Sibio, the former global Chairman and CEO of EY, brings extensive leadership and strategic expertise to Prudential.

At EY, Di Sibio played a key role in shaping the firm’s global strategy, managing over $10 billion in investments in technology, solutions, and talent development in the last five years. His leadership also emphasised innovation through strategic acquisitions and partnerships in emerging sectors.

Gil Casellas, Director and Chair of Prudential’s Corporate Governance and Business Ethics Committee, praised Di Sibio’s deep expertise in business strategy and innovation. Casellas expressed confidence in Di Sibio’s ability to contribute to Prudential’s growth and operational agility.

Di Sibio’s career at EY included roles as Global Managing Partner, Client Services, and Chair of the Global Financial Services Markets Executive. He currently serves on the Boards of PayPal and Focusing Capital on the Long Term (FCLT) and is a member of the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council.

Di Sibio holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a B.A. in chemistry from Colgate University.
