
Prithavi Raj Jindal & Tripti Jindal Arya Appointed As Joint MD & Director, Respectively, Of Jindal Saw
Prithavi Raj Jindal and Tripti Jindal Arya, who retired by rotation and were reappointed at the Annual General Meeting, have been appointed as Joint Managing Director and Director, respectively, of Jindal Saw Limited.
The company has reappointed Sminu Jindal as the Independent Director.
Further, Abhiram Tayal retires as Independent Director of the company effective July 9, 2025, upon completion of his tenure.
Prithavi Raj Jindal is the Chairman of Jindal SAW and a veteran of the steel industry with over 40 years of experience. He pioneered the production of Submerged Arc Welded (SAW) Pipes in India by establishing SAW Pipes Limited in 1984, which later became Jindal SAW Limited. As the eldest son of O.P. Jindal, he has led the company’s growth into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pipes and tubes, with operations across multiple locations in India and abroad. Under his leadership, Jindal SAW has become a key player in the steel, iron, and power sectors, contributing significantly to the industrial landscape of India.
At Jindal Saw, Tripti Jindal Arya focuses on driving innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. She is a second-generation entrepreneur and brings a strong understanding of the business landscape and a commitment to continuous learning. In addition to her role at Jindal Saw, she serves as the Managing Trustee of the Arya Group Foundation, leading the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to create meaningful community impact. She holds an MBA from the Fore School of Management, New Delhi, which helps her handle the changing challenges and opportunities in the industry and support the company’s long-term growth and development in a responsible way.
