Pravinsingh Pardeshi Steps Down As Independent Director Of CEAT

Pravinsingh Pratapsingh Pardeshi has stepped down from his position as a Non-Executive Independent Director of CEAT Limited, effective April 10, 2025, citing other preoccupations.

Pardeshi is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Maharashtra cadre with over 34 years of service. He has held senior roles including Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Principal Secretary of the Revenue and Forest Department, and Municipal Commissioner of Greater Mumbai. He currently serves as Member (Administration) at the Capacity Building Commission, Government of India, overseeing “Mission Karmayogi”. He has led training programmes for railway and police personnel. Since July 2023, he has been Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra Institution for Transformation (MITRA), which reports to the Chief Minister. Pardeshi holds an M.Sc. in social policy from the London School of Economics, a master’s in development economics from Delhi School of Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Delhi University.
