PNB Gilts Appoints Dr. Rekha Jain As Independent Director

The Board of Directors of PNB Gilts Limited has appointed Dr. Rekha Jain as an Independent Director (Additional Director) of the Company with effect from November 7, 2024, subject to the requisite approval of members of the Company.

Dr. Rekha Jain has more than 39 years of diversified expertise and unique knowledge in information technology, payment and settlement systems, business management, and risk management, among others. She is currently a senior visiting professor with the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER). She worked as a professor at the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad (IIM-A). Dr. Jain is a postgraduate in physics from the University of Delhi. She obtained her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi.
