Pam Kaur Is Set To Become The First Female CFO Of HSBC Holdings
HSBC Holdings Public Listed Company (PLC) is considering its first female Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 159 years of history, a position that appears to have attracted Pam Kaur as one of the top contenders as per the Bloomberg report.
Pam Kaur has been working with HSBC since 2013, and she currently serves as Group Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, heading a global group responsible for risk management. Kaur has wide-ranging experience at major financial institutions in roles that have included Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management and made significant contributions to the development of HSBC’s strategy. A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, she sponsors the bank’s Global Ethnicity Inclusion program and embraces the network, working to create a more representative workforce. Apart from HSBC, Kaur serves on the Board of Directors for Abrdn Plc. She graduated with an MBA in finance as well as a BCom (Hons) from Punjab University.
