Oberoi Hotels MD Natasha Oberoi’s Request To Halt Board Resolution Denied By Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court rejected a petition by Natasha Oberoi, Managing Director of Oberoi Hotels, seeking to stay the board resolution passed on June 6, 2025. The resolution granted Tejaswi Dixit, Company Secretary at EIH Associated Hotels, authority to handle legal matters related to the estate of PRS Oberoi, the late patriarch of the Oberoi Group.

Natasha Oberoi had argued that Dixit, whom she described as “a stranger,” was unlawfully given authority by her brother Vikramajit Singh Oberoi, CEO of the Oberoi Group, and Cousin Arjun Singh Oberoi, Executive Chairman. She requested that disputes, including Dixit’s role, be resolved through arbitration. Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav held that Natasha was not a party to any valid arbitration agreement and that the company’s Articles of Association could not serve as the basis for interim relief. The court ruled she could not restrain the Board or executives from implementing the resolution.
