Nucleus Software Exports’ Independent Directors Prithvi Haldea & Trilochan Sastry Retire
Three Directors of Nucleus Software Exports Limited shall retire on July 25, 2024, upon completion of their tenure: Prithvi Haldea and Sadhu Trilochan Sastry as Independent Directors; and Ravi Pratap Singh as Whole-Time Director of the company.
In 1989, Prithvi Haldea established the PRIME Database, the country’s first and only database on the primary capital market. Currently, he is a member of the government’s Standing Council of Experts for the Financial Sector. He is a Public Interest Director on MCX and an Advisor to both the Association of Investment Bankers of India and Gaja Capital. He served on the Board of the Central Listing Authority (SEBI), was the First Trustee of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority, and was a was a member of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. He has also been the Central Government nominee on the Governing Council of ICAI and ICSI. He has contributed to various committees of SEBI, MCA, NSE, BSE, CII, NASSCOM, ASSOCHAM, and PHDCCI. In June 2001, he joined Nucleus Software Exports; in April 2008, he joined Nucleus Software; and in August 2014, he joined Virstra-i Technology Services. He completed his MBA from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
Professor Trilochan Sastry, a former Dean at IIM Bangalore, currently teaches at IIM Bangalore. He taught at IIM Ahmedabad for several years before moving to IIM Bangalore. He serves on the Board of NABARD and previously served on the Board of IIM Bangalore for five years. He joined Nucleus Software Exports in April 2013. He holds a BTech from IIT Delhi, an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, and a Ph.D. from MIT, USA.
