Novartis India Appoints Chandni Maru as Company Secretary

On May 8, 2024, the Board of Directors of Novartis India Limited approved the appointment of Chandni Maru as the Company Secretary, Compliance Officer, and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) with immediate effect.

Chandni Maru is a qualified Company Secretary, an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with six years of experience in handling compliances of listed and unlisted companies, including the handling of board meetings and general meetings and implementing the corporate governance framework in the listed entities as prescribed under SEBI laws. Prior to joining Novartis, she was associated with various law firms like Krishnamurthy and Co. (Klaw) and Nishith Desai and Associates and has advised their clients on compliances under the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and RBI laws.
