Non-Executive Director of Hindalco Industries’ Askaran Agarwala does not seek reappointment

Askaran Agarwala, a Non-Executive Director of Hindalco Industries Limited has not offered himself for reappointment. Accordingly, he retires as a Director, effective from August 22, 2024.

Askaran Agarwala is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He previously served as President of the Aluminum Association of India and Vice-Chairman of the International Aluminum Institute and has contributed to various state and central government committees. He has had a long and distinguished association with the Aditya Birla Group, particularly Hindalco Industries Ltd., for 65 years. Joining Hindalco from its founding in 1959. He has held numerous significant roles within the Aditya Birla Group and has been a member of various boards across the Group. Currently, he serves on the boards of several Group companies and is involved in special projects under “The Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives & Rural Development,” as well as other strategic and sustainability initiatives. He also acts as a trustee for various Aditya Birla Group trusts.
