Nikola CFO Anastasiya Pasterick Quits In Less Than A Year
Nikola, the electric truck maker, announced on Friday that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Anastasiya Pasterick will resign to pursue other opportunities, less than a year after joining the company.
Pasterick took on the role in March of this year, replacing Kim Brady. The company is actively searching for a new CFO, with Pasterick assisting in the transition until December 1. During this period, key financial leaders will report to CEO Stephen Girsky.
This news follows Nikola’s recent appointment of its fourth CEO in four years, with Girsky taking over from Michael Lohscheller. Despite ongoing demand for electric vehicles in the U.S., economic concerns have led major EV companies like Tesla and Ford to delay some factory expansions.
Nikola reported a wider loss in the third quarter due to suspending sales and recalling all 209 battery-electric heavy-duty trucks. The recall was prompted by an investigation revealing a coolant leak inside a battery pack, causing fires in the vehicles.
