New Executive Directors for PSBs: Dhanaraj T. at IoB & Brajesh Kumar Singh at Indian Bank
The Government of India has appointed Dhanaraj T., currently serving as Chief General Manager, Indian Bank, as the Executive Director at Indian Overseas Bank for three years, with effect from March 10, 2024. He replaced S. Srimathy, whose term ended on March 9, 2024. Simultaneously, the Central Government appointed Brajesh Kumar Singh, currently serving as Chief General Manager at Bank of Baroda, as the Executive Director at Indian Bank for three years, with effect from March 10, 2024. He replaced Imran Amin Siddiqui, whose term ended on March 9, 2024.
Dhanaraj T. has 53 years of experience and has acquired supplementary credentials, including CAlIB and the successful completion of a ‘Leadership Development Programme’ for PSU bank leaders at IIM-Bangalore. Furthermore, he has participated in an ‘Executive Programme in HR Analytics’ (EPHRA) at IIM, Lucknow. He graduated with a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
Brajesh Kumar Singh is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and has banking experience spanning more than 28 years. Prior to joining as Executive Director of Indian Bank, Singh was serving as Chief General Manager HR of Bank of Baroda. He has also completed the Executive Leadership Development Programme at IIM Bangalore. He has worked in various strategic positions. He was also convenor of the state-level bankers’ committee. His business exposure includes overseas tenure in Durban, South Africa. At the corporate office, he has steered Retail Assets and Human Resource Management departments with his rich expertise. He has also served as Director on the Board of Baroda UP Gramin Bank. He is an agriculture graduate from Allahabad Agriculture Institute and has an MBA in Finance.
