Network18 Media & Investments Appoints Adil Zainulbhai & Renuka Ramnath as Independent Directors

Network18 Media & Investments Limited appointed Adil Zainulbhai as an Additional Director (Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director) with effect from July 7, 2024. He is also designated as the Chairman of the company. Renuka Ramnath is appointed as an Additional Director (Independent Director) of the company, with effect from July 4, 2024, for one year. Rahul Joshi has been reappointed as the Managing Director (MD) for three years, with effect from July 9, 2024. Bhama Krishnamurthy resigned from the post of Independent Director with immediate effect.

Adil Zainulbhai is the former Chairman of the Boards of Network18, TV18, and Chairman of the Quality Council of India, where he worked on several projects for the government around many of its flagship schemes. Previously, he was the Chairman of McKinsey India, where, during his 34-year stint, he led its Washington office and founded the Minneapolis office. He is very active in community and social causes. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and a Masters’ in Business Management (MBA) from Harvard Business School.

Renuka Ramnath has over 30 years of experience, started her career with the ICICI Group, and has held leadership roles in investment banking, structured finance, and e-commerce. She led ICICI Venture as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She is the founder, MD & CEO of Multiples Alternate Asset Management. She is a Board member of EMPEA. She is also the Vice-Chairperson of the executive committee of the Indian Venture Capital Association. She holds a degree in textile engineering from the V.J. Technological Institute (VJTI), University of Mumbai, and a postgraduate degree in management studies from the University of Mumbai. She has also completed the Advanced Management Programme from the Graduate School of Business Administration at Harvard University.
