Nestle India’s Independent Director Swati Ajay Piramal Will Retire

Swati Ajay Piramal will retire as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Nestle India Limited on March 31, 2024 upon completion of her second term of five years.

Swati Ajay Piramal is Vice-Chairperson at Piramal Group and has been honoured with the Padma Shri. She established the Gopikrishna Piramal Memorial Hospital and serves as a Director on the boards of Allergan India and Essilor Luxottica. She is a Board Member for the Dean’s Advisors at Harvard Business School and the Harvard School of Public Health. Previously, she held roles such as Non-Executive Director at ICICI Bank and Director at SBI Capital Markets and Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Harvard Business School, along with a Medical Degree (M.B.B.S) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Mumbai, India.
