Nelcast Appoints Vinod K. Dasari as Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Nelcast Limited has approved the appointment of Vinod K. Dasari as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for five years, with effect from May 13, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

The current term of D. Sesha Reddy and A. Balasubramanian as Independent Directors of the company expires on August 5, 2024. The Board has approved the appointment of D. Sesha Reddy and A. Balasubramanian as Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors with effect from August 6, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Vinod K. Dasari, 57, has about 35 years of industrial experience in different areas, including operations, management, finance, etc. Dasari commenced his career with the General Electric Company. He worked as Managing Director of Timken India, Joint Managing Director of Cummins India, CEO and Managing Director of Ashok Leyland, and CEO of Royal Enfield. Presently, he serves as an advisor at Tresa Motors and Stiger EV, an Independent Director on the Boards of Pidilite Industries and Transrail Lighting, an operating partner at Advent International, and Chairman at VinitaHealth and WayCool Foods. He completed his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a Masters in Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Louisville.
