Nehru Singh Appointed As Chief Risk Officer Of South Indian Bank
Nehru Singh B. has been appointed as Chief Risk Officer of South Indian Bank Limited with effect from July 12, 2025.
Singh is currently serving as General Manager at South Indian Bank, bringing over 30 years of experience in banking. Prior to this, he spent 17 years at Axis Bank in corporate banking operations, overseeing credit operations, process controls, and international credit. His expertise spans branch operations, corporate credit, policy formulation, and systems improvement. He joined South Indian Bank on September 1, 2022, and currently leads the Credit Quality Assurance function. His responsibilities include setting up the Credit Policy and Monitoring Group and driving process controls, lean operations, and automation. Singh holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and an MBA and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers with additional certification in Credit Administration from NIBM.
