Neera Saggi retires as Independent Director of Swaraj Engines

Neera Saggi the Independent Director of Swaraj Engines Limited completed her 4 years tenure on September 30, 2023.

Neera Saggi has 39 years of experience, in both the Indian Administrative Service and various leadership roles in the private sector. She’s been deeply involved in creating and carrying out policies for both state and central governments. Her expertise mainly lies in the field of infrastructure, and she currently serves on the boards of several top infrastructure companies in India. She is an Independent Director on the boards of Tata Steel BSL Ltd, Tata Projects, GE Power India Ltd, GE T&D, and Honeywell Automation India Ltd. She is actively engaged in non-profit work. She serves as the Chair of Care India and is a governing body member of the Indian Cancer Society and IIM Amritsar. Her extensive networks span various sectors and include connections with government, private companies, NGOs, and international organisations. She completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English literature from Delhi University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the International Centre of Public Enterprise in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) from Gauhati University.
