NBCC CMD K.P. Mahadevaswamy Assigned Additional Charge as Director (Commercial)

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA) has entrusted the Additional Charge of Director (Commercial) of NBCC (India) Limited to K.P. Mahadevaswamy, the current Chairman and Managing Director of the company, for a period of six months or until the regular incumbent joins or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment is effective January 1, 2024, as the ministry said in a letter dated April 9, 2024.

K.P. Mahadevaswamy assumed the role of Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC (India) on October 1, 2023, along with the additional responsibility of Chairman of Hindustan Steelworks.

Construction (HSCL) and Hospital Services Consultancy Corporation (HSCC). Mahadevaswamy joined NBCC on September 5, 2005, as Dy. General Manager (Engg.) and gradually and successfully went up the ladder in the organisation to become Director (Commercial) on February 1, 2023. He has more than 33 years of experience handling many mega-value, critical, diversified, and state-of-the-art civil engineering projects across the country before assuming the charge of Chairman and MD of NBCC (India). Prior to this, he served as the Director (Commercial) of NBCC until September 30, 2023, and continued to hold an additional charge as Director (Commercial) until December 31, 2023.
