Narayan Ramachandran Redesignated As Non-Independent Director Of TeamLease; Rituparna Chakraborty Steps Down
Narayan Ramachandran has been redesignated from Independent Director to Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of TeamLease Services Limited w.e.f. July 8, 2025.
Rituparna Chakraborty has stepped down as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the company effective May 21, 2025.
Dr V. Raghunathan and Latika Pradhan have completed their term as Independent Directors of the company and will consequently retire from the position w.e.f. July 7, 2025.
Ramachandran has been associated with TeamLease since 2015, as an Independent Director, and became Lead Independent Director in 2020. In July 2021, he was redesignated as Non-Executive Chairman of the company. He led the Global Emerging Markets division at Morgan Stanley in New York and Singapore and was the CEO and Country Head of Morgan Stanley in India. He was part of the founding team at RBL Bank and served as its Chairman. He has also contributed to commercial and social enterprise initiatives. He has over 36 years of experience in finance and institution building across regions. Ramachandran holds a B.Tech from IIT Mumbai, an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and is a Certified Financial Analyst.
Chakraborty has 25 years of experience in business and Co-Founded TeamLease, contributing to its growth as a leading people supply chain company in India. She transitioned to the role of Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director of the company in June 2023. She is an Independent Director at Navi General Insurance, Navi AMC, and Lithium Urban Technologies. She also serves on the Governing Board of the Goa Institute of Management and the Centre of Digital Enterprises at IIM Udaipur. She engages with forums such as CII, FICCI, ILO, and ISF. She has played a role in scaling the business and has contributed to public policy, including the four labour codes. She is an Advanced Management Program alumna of Columbia Business School.
