Narain Duraiswami Steps Down As Independent Director Of Rallis India
Narain Duraiswami has resigned as a Non-Executive Independent Director of Rallis India Limited due to increasing demands on time and professional commitments, effective September 18, 2025.
Duraiswami was Vice President and Treasurer at Monsanto Co., USA, and President & CEO of South Asia. With over four decades of global experience in the food and agriculture sector, he has held leadership roles across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. He is a Founding Partner of AgVaya LLP, an advisory firm supporting companies in the agriculture and food sectors and an Independent Director at Medi Assist. A Chartered Accountant, his previous roles include being part of the founding team of ITC’s Agri Business Division and Global Head of Smallholder Farming at Bayer AG. Duraiswami holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Madras and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA.
