Namita Thapar & Sameer Mehta Join Delhivery As Independent Directors

Namita Vikas Thapar and Sameer Mehta have been appointed as Independent Directors (Additional Directors) of Delhivery Limited with effect from February 17 & February 07, 2025, respectively. The appointment is subject to the approval of members.

Namita Thapar is the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Pune. As the CEO of Emcure’s India Business, she oversees operations with annual revenue of approximately Rs 8,000 crores. Before joining the family business, she worked for six years in the business finance team at Guidant Corporation, USA. She is a judge on the television show ‘Shark Tank India’ and has received several corporate awards, including The Economic Times ‘40 under Forty,’ Barclays Hurun Next Gen Leader, and the World Women Leadership Congress Super Achiever award. Thapar holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI.

Sameer Mehta is a founding member and promoter of Imagine Marketing Limited (boAt) and currently serves as its Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He co-founded Redwood Interactive, which owned RedGear, a gaming brand in India. His contributions to the consumer technology sector have been recognised, with features on the covers of Business Today and Forbes India. Along with Aman Gupta, he was named among Forbes India’s Tycoons of Tomorrow. He was also recognised in IDFC FIRST Private & Hurun India’s Top 200 Self-made Entrepreneurs of the Millennia 2024. Mehta holds a bachelor of commerce degree from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai.
