Mayank Verma Steps Down As Company Secretary Of Biocon

Mayank Verma has resigned from his position as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer at Biocon Limited to explore new opportunities outside the Biocon Group, effective April 14, 2025.

Verma is a key managerial personnel and has been associated with Biocon since 2012. Before his current role, he served as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Syngene International Ltd., the research arm of Biocon, where he played a role in getting Syngene listed on the Indian stock exchanges (NSE and BSE). He also worked with ING Vysya Bank Ltd. Verma holds a master’s degree in business administration from Barkatullah University and is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
