Mastek CEO Hiral Chandrana Has Resigned

Hiral Chandrana, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mastek Limited and Group CEO, has resigned on August 7, 2024. He has also resigned from positions on the Boards of Directors of the subsidiaries of the company.

On August 9, 2024, the Board of Directors of the company accepted the resignation with immediate effect.
The Board also considered and recommended Umang Nahata, one of the Non-Executive Directors as the Interim Group CEO of Mastek Group, with effect from August 10, 2024.

Hiral Chandrana led the organisation’s global profit and loss, strategy, growth, customer success, and employee experience initiatives, and he has over 25 years of experience in the field of IT services and digital solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked with Wipro Ltd. and Electronic Data Systems. During his 14-year tenure at Wipro, he served as Sr. VP and Global Head. He holds an engineering degree, an MS, and an MBA from the United States, and has further developed his leadership skills through executive programs at Wharton, Duke University, and Berkeley.
