Manoj Kohli & Sangeeta Bhatia Appointed As Independent Directors Of ITD Cementation
Manoj Kumar Kohli and Sangeeta Bhatia have been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Directors (Additional Directors) of ITD Cementation India Limited, effective June 20, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Sunil Shah Singh and Jana Chatra have resigned from the position of Non-Executive Independent Director of the company, with effect from June 20, 2025.
Manoj Kumar Kohli is Chairman and Managing Partner at MK Knowledge LLP and an international advisor to multinational corporations, global funds, and startups. With over 45 years of experience across manufacturing, telecom, renewable energy, and digital technology, he guides entrepreneurs on scaling ventures globally. Until 2023, he was Country Head of SoftBank India, supporting investments in over 25 AI-driven companies, including OYO, Swiggy, and Flipkart. He previously led Bharti Airtel across 20 countries and SB Energy, achieving 7 GW in renewable capacity. He has worked across Asia, Africa, and global markets and is active in leadership development and policy advisory roles. Kohli holds degrees in commerce, law, and business from Delhi University, with executive education from Michigan and Wharton.
Sangeeta Bhatia has over 36 years of experience in the Finance and Accounts department at NTPC Ltd, a key public sector enterprise in India’s power sector. She has contributed significantly to NTPC’s growth as an integrated power company. Bhatia has led major resource mobilisation efforts, raising over USD 3 billion through equity, debt, export credits, and Eurobonds, while working closely with multilateral agencies like IBRD, ADB, JBIC, K-Exim, and EKN. She also managed large-scale treasury operations and led the ERP implementation across 100+ locations. Bhatia played a central role in establishing NTPC’s Corporate Governance and risk mitigation frameworks, contributing to the company’s operational strength and financial resilience over the decades.
