Mahindra Veteran Hemant Sikka Appointed MD & CEO Of Mahindra Logistics; Malvika Sinha Reappointed As Independent Director
Mahindra Logistics Limited, on July 21, 2025, approved the appointment of Hemant Sikka as Managing Director (MD), designated as MD & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from May 5, 2025.
Malvika Sinha has been reappointed as an Independent Director of the company effective July 30, 2025.
Sikka has over three decades of global business leadership experience. He earlier served as President of Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES). He also led Mahindra Powerol and the two-wheeler division, including Classic Legends. Under his leadership, FES expanded into agri-advisory, farm equipment rental, and precision farming through the Krish-e platform. He also headed Mahindra’s agri sector, comprising Mahindra Agri Solutions and Mahindra EPC Irrigation. Sikka has served on the boards of several Mahindra Group companies and currently chairs FICCI’s National Agriculture Committee. He was also President of the Tractor & Mechanisation Association (2021–2023).
Sinha is a former Executive Director of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), where she served for 38 years until her retirement in February 2020. In her role as Executive Director, she oversaw key departments including Human Resource Development, Foreign Exchange, Internal Debt Management, and Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee. She was responsible for policy formulation and operational leadership in these areas, managing HR functions for approximately 15,000 RBI employees. She also served as RBI’s Nominee Director on the Board of State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur and was part of the governing councils of IIBF and IBPS.
