Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Reappoints Diwakar Gupta As Independent Director

Diwakar Gupta has been reappointed as an Independent Director of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited with effect from December 1, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the 29th AGM of the company.

Gupta worked for the State Bank of India for 39 years and eventually became the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer (MD & CFO). He spearheaded several key initiatives, including partnerships for the Aadhaar rollout. Post-SBI, he held senior advisory roles with Aditya Birla Nuvo and True North and served as Vice President at the Asian Development Bank. He also contributed to policy frameworks through RBI-appointed committees and was a Senior Advisor at CAFRAL. Gupta graduated from St. Stephen’s College and earned a postgraduate degree in physics from the University of Delhi.
