Madhivanan Balakrishnan Resigns as Executive Director of IDFC First Bank

Madhivanan Balakrishnan, Executive Director and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of IDFC FIRST Bank Limited, has tendered his resignation on December 6, 2023. He continues to serve the bank for necessary handovers until December 15, 2023.

The bank has reported several other changes in the rank of SMPs. Shirish Bhandari, Avik Sarkar, Lalitha Natarajan, Rahul Jain, Kanverjeet Sabharwal, Aarthy Rangarajan, Mitali Dalal, Srikant Kurup, and TV Narayanan have ceased to be SMPs with effect from December 6, 2023. Additionally, Madhivanan Balakrishnan will no longer be an SMP from December 15, 2023.

Madhivanan Balakrishnan joined the bank in 2019 and has accumulated four years of experience. Prior to assuming the role of COO at IDFC FIRST Bank, he served as the Chief Technology and Digital Officer (CTDO) at ICICI Bank. Additionally, he held the positions of Managing Director and Global CEO at 3i Infotech Ltd., an IT products and services company. Furthermore, he served as an Executive Director at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Mumbai University and a PGDM in marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
