M.T. Ramesh, Dr. Vasant Ashok Patil & Pradeep K. Saraogi Retire As Independent Directors Of NLC India

M.T. Ramesh, Dr. Vasant Ashok Patil, and Pradeep Kumar Saraogi retired as Independent Directors of NLC India Limited upon completion of their term, effective March 27, 2026.

Ramesh has taken part in various programmes addressing local needs and has contributed to efforts that support social development at the community level. His involvement spans different forms of outreach and assistance activities. His work focuses on community engagement and participation in initiatives aimed at public welfare. In addition to his social work, he is engaged in philanthropic initiatives, contributing to causes that support community welfare and development. Ramesh holds a bachelor’s degree in history and has been involved in social service activities for over three decades.

Patil is a medical practitioner specialising in ophthalmology. In the education sector, he serves as President of Ekal Vidyalaya, Shahada Anchal Samiti, and as Chairman of Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Shahada. He has been providing medical services through eye and cataract camps for over 22 years, focusing on access to treatment in different regions. He is engaged in social initiatives, including conducting camps in tribal areas across education, health, farming, culture, motivation, and self-employment activities. His work involves outreach programmes aimed at community development. Through these roles, he is involved in school education and skill development programmes for children and youth in tribal areas.

Saraogi serves as the District President of the District Olympic Association and is a patron of the Amateur Mallakhamb Association in Uttar Pradesh. His work includes involvement in sports-related activities and support for youth development initiatives. Active in social and political spheres since his student years, he has been engaged in initiatives aimed at supporting communities and assisting people in need. He has also contributed to promoting sports among youth through organised programmes and local initiatives. Saraogi holds a master’s degree in political science from Bundelkhand University. He is a member of the state working committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
