Leadership Changes at Reliance Home Finance
Chhaya Virani and Rashna Khan, Independent Directors of Reliance Home Finance Limited, have resigned from the Board of Directors of the Company with effect from October 12, 2023. Also, Parul Jain ceased to be the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company with effect from September 30, 2023.
Chhaya Virani, 65, is a partner at M/s. ALMT Legal Advocates and Solicitors. She also serves on the boards of Reliance Capital Limited, Reliance General Insurance Company Limited, Reliance Capital Pension Fund Limited, Reliance Communications Limited, and Reliance Infratel Limited. She has a bachelor’s degree in Arts from Mumbai University and a bachelor’s degree in legislative law from the Government Law College.
Rashna Khan, aged 55 years, before becoming a partner at Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe, Advocates and Solicitors, in 2009, worked in various roles at different law firms. Her expertise is in handling legal disputes in various courts and tribunals. She also provides legal advice and documentation services. She is on the boards of Reliance Power Limited, Reliance Commercial Finance Limited, Vidarbha Industries Power Limited, Sasan Power Limited, and Rosa Power Supply Company Limited. She holds a law degree from the Government Law College Mumbai (University of Bombay) and is qualified as a solicitor with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society and the Law Society London.
CS Parul Jain has been with the Reliance Group since 2007, and she has been with Reliance Home Finance since 2017. She was in charge of secretarial practice and regulatory compliance. She has 15 years of experience in handling secretarial and compliance matters and is a certified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
