Lalita Gupte Retired as Independent Director of TVS Motor Company

Lalita Dileep Gupte completed her tenure as an Independent Director of TVS Motor Company Limited on October 22, 2023, and stepped down from her role as a member of the board and several board committees.

Lalita D. Gupte is currently the Chairperson of India Infra Debt Limited and ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd. Gupte retired from her role as Joint Managing Director and Board Member of ICICI Bank Limited in October 2006. Her journey with ICICI Bank started in 1971, and she held various leadership positions in areas like Corporate and Retail Banking, Strategy, Resources, and International Banking. She has played a crucial role in expanding ICICI Bank’s international business since 2001. She was committed to promoting equal opportunities and merit-based advancement within the ICICI group. She has also been actively involved in corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, both within the group and later with Swadhaar. Additionally, she serves as an Independent Director on several company boards and is a member of the advisory board at the RAND Centre for Asia Pacific Policy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics (Hons) and a Master’s degree in management studies.
