
KC Ang Steps Down As President & Head Of Tata Semiconductor Manufacturing
KC Ang has stepped down from his role as President and Head of Tata Semiconductor Manufacturing, a unit of Tata Electronics, citing personal reasons.
Most recently, Ang served as President of Asia and Chairman of China at GlobalFoundries, where he worked for more than fifteen years. He led the semiconductor foundry operations of Tata Electronics and was involved in the company’s semiconductor manufacturing plans. He has spent several decades working in the semiconductor industry across multiple organisations. During his career, he has worked in countries including Malaysia, Germany, the United States, and China. Ang holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from National Taiwan University and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Texas.
