Karen Parkhill to serve as CFO of HP Inc.

Karen Parkhill is set to join HP Inc. as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on August 5, 2024. Tim Brown, who has been serving as interim CFO, will return to his role as head of Print Finance.

Parkhill has spent the past 13 years as the CFO for well-established, publicly traded companies. She joins HP from Medtronic plc, where she has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2016. She began her career at J.P. Morgan. She rose through the ranks at JP Morgan to become the CFO for commercial banking. After five years in that role, she joined Comerica Incorporated as Vice Chairman and CFO for another five years.

Parkhill also serves on the Board of Directors at American Express, currently chairing their Risk Committee. She has previously been a member of the International Women’s Forum, a National Trustee for the Boys and Girls Club of America, on the Board of Directors of the Methodist Health System, and on the Executive Board of the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business. She holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and mathematics from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
