JSW Steel Appoints Manoj Prasad Singh As Company Secretary

Manoj Prasad Singh has been appointed as Company Secretary of JSW Steel Limited in an interim capacity, Compliance Officer, and Key Managerial Person (KMP) with effect from January 24, 2025.

Singh has over 28 years of experience in the Company Secretary function, working across various organisations. Before joining the company as Deputy Company Secretary in September 2022, he was the Company Secretary of GE T&D India Ltd. His previous roles include positions at General Electric, Alstom, Cairn India, Avantha Power, and LNJ Bhilwara Group. He has handled responsibilities in listed companies, including managing boards, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, IPOs, listings, joint ventures, FDI, shareholder services, Companies Act and securities law compliance, governance, compliance management systems, and corporate social responsibility activities. Singh is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), a law graduate from the University of Delhi, holds an executive MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, and a diploma in corporate governance from ICSI.
