Joe DePinto Steps Down As 7-Eleven CEO, Board Seeks Successor
Joe DePinto will retire as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 7-Eleven Inc. after 20 years leading the company.
Before leading 7-Eleven, DePinto served as President of GameStop Corporation and held executive positions at PepsiCo, Inc. and Thornton Oil Corporation. DePinto serves on multiple boards, including 7-Eleven, Inc., Brinker International (Chairman), and Children’s Health, and is involved with the Business Executives for National Security, Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, and Southwestern Medical Foundation. He also contributes to advisory boards such as the Kellogg School of Management Global Advisory Board, the Dallas Stars Ownership Advisory Group, and the George W. Bush Presidential Center Military Service Initiative. DePinto holds a bachelor’s in Engineering Management from West Point and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
