JM Financial Appoints Ankur Jhaveri As MD & CEO of Institutional Equities Business

JM Financial announced the appointment of Ankur Jhaveri as Managing Director and CEO of its Institutional Equities division with effect from January 15, 2025.

Jhaveri brings nearly 20 years of experience in institutional equities and derivatives and focuses on enhancing the sales, trading, research, and derivatives sectors of the business. Before this role, he served as Managing Director at Axis Capital. JM Financial’s Managing Director, Chirag Negandhi, expressed confidence in Jhaveri’s ability to capitalise on emerging market opportunities and drive growth for the company’s equities business. Jhaveri holds an MBA in Finance from NL Dalmia Institute and a master’s degree in International Finance from ICFAI University.
