Jeyandran Venugopal May Take Over As CEO Of Reliance Retail Ventures

Flipkart’s former Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) Jeyandran Venugopal is likely to join Reliance Retail Ventures (RRV) as its Chief Executive, according to sources.

Venugopal may lead the consumer-facing businesses of Reliance Industries, including JioMart, Ajio, Tira, and Reliance Brands. His formal exit from Flipkart is expected in May, following an eight-year stint. He also founded Eclinic247, later acquired by MedLife. Reliance has not confirmed the development. At Flipkart, he oversaw product management, engineering, design, user research, and data science. Before Flipkart, he served as CTO at Myntra and held roles at Yahoo, Snapdeal, and AWS. The move aligns with Reliance’s plans to bring in technology-focused leadership to drive the next phase of retail business growth.
