Jayesh Hirji Shah Reappointed As Independent Director Of Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals

The Board of Directors of Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited has approved the reappointment of Jayesh Hirji Shah as an Independent Director w.e.f. December 20, 2024. Subject to the approval of shareholders of the company through postal ballot.

Shah is an experienced lawyer in Asia, specialising in banking and financial services. He is a leading practitioner in corporate law, dispute resolution, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), private equity (PE), and insolvency & restructuring. He has handled complex financing, M&A transactions, and advisory mandates, establishing Juris Corp as a key law firm in India for structured finance and restructuring. He is also recognised for his expertise in arbitration. Shah co-founded Juris Corp in 2000.
