Indian Oil Corporation Sees Exit Of 6 Executive Directors On Superannuation

Indian Oil Corporation Limited announced the superannuation of six senior executives with effect from January 31, 2026. Dr. Mukesh Ranjan Das retired as Executive Director (Human Resources), Himanshu Ranjan as Executive Director (Quality Control), Korate Srinivasrao as Executive Director (Operations), Subodh Kumar Bajpai as Executive Director (Health, Safety and Environment) at the Marketing Head Office, and M. Sudhakar as Executive Director (Regional Services) at the Southern Regional Office. Atanu Sanyal retired as Executive Director and Refinery Head of the Haldia Refinery. The Corporation placed on record its appreciation for their valuable contributions during their tenure.

Dr. Das has had a long association with IndianOil, with a focus on people development and organisational learning. During his tenure in the human resources function, he contributed to strengthening the company’s learning and development framework. He was involved in leadership development programmes such as Hansa, Nirman, and Shikhar, aimed at building internal leadership capability. He led the introduction of digital learning initiatives and helped design a pan-corporate training structure for middle and senior management. He has also played a mentoring role for employees across levels. Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Dr. Das has been engaged in social initiatives and was recognised as an Ambassador of Social Chess by the International Chess Federation (FIDE).
