India Sees Record Company & LLP Registrations In March

India recorded the highest number of company and limited liability partnership (LLP) registrations in March, driven by investor confidence in economic growth.

A total of 21,156 companies were registered in March, a 27% increase from the previous year and 45% higher than the monthly average of the preceding 11 months. In the same period, 8,723 LLPs were registered, marking a 62% rise. The increase follows a period of decline in company incorporations in eight of the past 11 months. Officials attribute the growth to improved investor sentiment and a favourable base effect.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) projects India’s economy to grow at 6.5% annually until 2026-27, with a rebound to 7.6% in the March quarter.
