Inder Singh To Take Over As CFO Of National Australia Bank

National Australia Bank (NAB) has appointed Inder Singh as its Group Chief Financial Officer, effective March 2026. He has been serving as CFO of QBE since 2018 and will continue in his role at the insurer until a successor is appointed.

Singh replaces Nathan Goonan, who moved to Westpac earlier this year. Shaun Dooley, the acting CFO since Goonan’s exit, will return to his position as Chief Risk Officer once Singh assumes the role.

With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, Singh has worked in investment banking with Deutsche Bank and UBS in Australia, where he advised on bank strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and capital structures. At NAB, he will oversee finance operations along with the bank’s strategy and development teams.
