Independent Directors Raja Nayak, Mamta Palariya, And Billeswar Sinha Retire From ITI
Dr. Raja Nayak, Mamta Palariya, and Billeswar Sinha ceased to be Independent Directors of ITI Limited with effect from November 9, 2024.
Dr. Nayak is a Scheduled Tribe (ST) entrepreneur and philanthropist, serving as National Vice President of the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) and President of DICCI (South India). He leads Akshay Enterprises, MCS Logistics, Purple Haze Beauty Spa, Jala Beverages, and Nayak Food and Power Systems. Dr. Nayak is also President of Kala Niketan College of Education and KJ Convent Schools.
Palariya is an advocate by profession and has been practicing at the Civil Court of Haldwani, Uttarakhand, since 1986. She has served as an Independent Director of Bharat Waggon and Engineering Company Limited. Palariya holds a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree, and an LLB from Kumaun University.
Sinha is an advocate, and other social activities in which he is involved include prisoners’ rights, disability rights, women’s rights, juvenile rights, labour rights, and so on. Sinha holds a Bachelor of Law degree from B N Mondal University in West Bengal.
