Independent Director S. Ranganath retired from Bosch

Sakalespur Visweswaraiya Ranganath, Independent Director of Bosch Limited, has concluded his tenure on June 30, 2024.

S. V. Ranganath is a retired IAS officer from the 1975 batch of the Karnataka cadre. He served in various capacities within the Government of India and Government of Karnataka. His roles included Chairman of the Indian Coffee Board, Resident Director at the Indian Investment Centre in Abu Dhabi, Principal Secretary to several Chief Ministers of Karnataka, Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor at the Department of Space, and Member (Finance) of the Space Commission, Atomic Energy Commission, and Earth Commission. He retired in October 2013 as Chief Secretary of the Government of Karnataka. Post-retirement, he served as Non-Executive Chairman of IFCI and Vice Chairman of the Karnataka State Higher Education Council in Bengaluru. Currently, he sits on the Boards of Coffee Enterprises, Coffee Day Global, Jana Capital, QS Era, and the Indian Institute of Human Settlement. He also serves as an Independent Director and Chairman of the Board at NABFINS. He holds a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) from Delhi University.
