Independent Director Hari Mundra Retires From ICICI Bank

Hari L. Mundra retired as an Independent Director of ICICI Bank Limited with effect from October 25, 2024, pursuant to the completion of his second term of office as an Independent Director.

Hari Mundra has over 50 years of industrial experience. He began working with Hindustan Unilever in 1971 and rose to the position of Vice President and Executive Director for Exports. He served as Group CFO and CEO of RPG Group’s Carbon Black Business. He became Executive Vice Chairman of the Wockhardt Group in 2002 and then went on to lead Essar Oil. He spent 13 years teaching at IIM Ahmedabad, served as Honorary Chairman of the Indian Cancer Society, and co-founded the Society for Complementary Therapies. He was a rank holder in B.A. Hons. and M.B.A.
