ICCA Appoints M.L. Agarwal As First Indian Chairman Since 1961

M.L. Agarwal, Chairman of Central India Packaging, has been elected Chairman of the International Corrugated Case Association (ICCA) Board of Directors at the recently held ICCA Global Summit in Osaka, Japan.

His son, Ankit Agarwal, Managing Director (MD) of the firm, has been appointed as the India Director on the Board.

This appointment of M.L. Agarwal marks the first time an Indian has assumed the role in ICCA’s 64-year history. The ICCA represents the global corrugated packaging industry. Ankit said India’s market is valued at USD 7.8 billion and could reach USD 18.6 billion by 2033. The 2027 ICCA Global Summit will be held in Hyderabad. The Agarwals noted rising investment from global firms and forecast strong growth, supported by sectors like e-commerce, food, electronics, and pharmaceuticals.
