Hitachi Energy Appoints Lorena Dellagiovanna as Director

Hitachi Energy Limited, a global technology company, has announced the appointment of Lorena Dellagiovanna as a Director of the Board. Dellagiovanna currently serves as Executive Vice President and Executive Officer, Chief Sustainability Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer (CDEIO) at Hitachi.

In her recent role as CHRO at Hitachi, Lorena Dellagiovanna has focused on building a diverse talent pool to foster innovation and creative problem-solving.

With this appointment, the Hitachi Energy Board continues to consist of 7 members: Alistair Dormer (Chair), Frank Duggan (Vice Chair), Akihide Hirao (Director), Lorena Dellagiovanna (Director), Manuel Valverde (Director), Seiichiro Nukui (Director), and Shashank Samant (Director).

Brice Koch, Executive Vice President and Executive Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Risk Management Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Hitachi Europe, and Stephen Pierce, Advisor to the President of Hitachi Europe, have stepped down from the Hitachi Energy Board but will continue in their respective roles within the Hitachi Group.
